I have been on the spiritual journey for over 6 years. It all started with a dark night of the soul upon meeting my twin flame (my soul in another body). What I thought was just an excruciating, soul-crushing “break-up” (and that’s putting it mildly), was actually the start to my awakening and spiritual ascension journey. I remember feeling lost, confused, terrified, and helpless, not knowing who I was, what I wanted in life, what my purpose was, and why I was in so much agony. In complete desperation, I spent thousands upon thousands of dollars attempting every healing modality, chakra clearing, plant medicine, psychic, tarot card reader—you name it—out there in the hopes of gaining some answers and relief. What started as an outward journey desperately trying to “find myself” through an endless string of relationships, vices, distractions, etc., soon lead me to the most horrifyingly beautiful point a soul can reach—the realization that nothing outside of me would ever make me happy. At that moment, my inward journey began with a newfound purpose and responsibility to return to my soul, where true peace and joy reside. I came to realize I was never lost in the first place, I was just looking in the wrong direction.
